The Hospital Emergency Response Alliance (HERA) supports its member agencies each year by utilizing funding received from a cooperative agreement, designed to strengthen preparedness and response capabilities. Members in good standing are eligible to submit funding requests for projects that enhance emergency response operations. Past awards have supported the purchase of critical equipment such as Lucas 3 Devices, hazardous chemical monitoring and decontamination tools, and specialized emergency response equipment for EMS, Emergency Management, and hospitals.
